The works here involved the construction of a £6m multi-storey car park for Liverpool City Council with contractor Willmott Dixon. The building is a steel framed structure with coursed stone with various cladding panels and large glazed openings. The building also features restaurant and retail space.
The car park itself sports 333 spaces including 15 motorcycle spaces, 28 cycle spaces and three electric vehicle charging bays.
The car park was built on Victoria Street which suffered severe bomb damage during World War II, having previously been the site of government building which held courtrooms and council offices and had been empty since this time.
The duration of the works was 10 months and completed in December 2017, just in time for the Christmas shoppers.
