KOK Provide CDM2015 Seminar to RICS Project Managers

Keelagher Okey Klein were recently invited to provide a CPD session for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in relation to the impact of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations one year after their implementation.

The seminar was organized by the North West Project Management Local Professional Group and hosted by Mace at their Manchester office.

During the first half of the seminar Keelagher Okey Klein’s Managing Director, John Okey, provided a summary of the changes to CDM Regulations, discussed the new role of Principal Designer and shared his experience of how this been implemented since its introduction.

The second half consisted of a Q&A session with a panel of invited guests from the Client, Architect and Contractor roles on projects to inform and provide their interpretation of the CDM 2015 Regulations and how it has affected their approach to the delivery of Health & Safety Regulations on projects.
