The first urban trail centre in the country, offering over 12 kilometres of trails for experienced and novice riders, was developed in partnership with The National Cycling Centre.
The trail also includes a run designed specifically for disabled people, a world first.
“Manchester is the home of British Cycling and the trail is a remarkable addition to our world-class cycling provision that already includes the velodrome and indoor BMX track. It has taken a lot of hard work and planning to create the new trail, but now it’s complete I’m sure everyone will agree it is a fantastic new facility we can all be proud of.”
